 The problem is looking at the elites as though they are in principle concerned with effectively governing and managing the global order and its various subordinate organs. They are not. They are parasitical and piratical and keeping things afloat is a secondary concern to subjugating every living soul. This is why they lurch from ridiculous measures that will obviously completely destabilize in a matter of years and desperate counter-measures when they realize that the particularly vehicle they’re riding is going to crash and burn if not reined in. They don’t care about the long-term, they don’t care about efficiency, they don’t care how badly they poison the body and spirit of their serfs, because they fundamentally are not, and do not see themselves as, lords over us. There is no noblesse oblige; they don’t see any misfortune afflicting us as reflecting on them, because they are not the rulers, and there is no superstitious pagan magic whereby sticking pins in or even ripping off the head of a puppet will hurt them. This is why even such a bugman society as the Chicoms rule is more vital than ours. They simply haven’t managed to totally unwed themselves from the commonweal.
